On 17 September, I had the opportunity to speak on the topic of sports nutrition at Pulse Endurance Sports in Chula Vista, Ca on behalf of the Fil Am Tri Club of San Diego. I talked briefly about periodization of training and how it relates to nutrition. Touched on the baseline of nutritional requirements and hydration, and then broke down the components of fueling and hydration before, during, and after physical activity. It was good to provide education to fellow triathletes. I look forward to more opportunities like this one.
